Bio:

Jill Munroe is a Los Angeles-born entertainment journalist, on-air host, and cultural commentator whose voice sits at the intersection of Hollywood, sports, and real-world storytelling. Known for her sharp insight, signature wit, and journalist’s eye for the details everyone else misses, Jill has become a trusted guide to the culture—breaking down headlines with intelligence, nuance, and personality.

As the host and producer of Jill Munroe on KBLA Talk 1580, Los Angeles’ only Black talk radio station, Jill anchors a daily drive-time show where she curates top entertainment stories, interviews industry talent, and delivers commentary with the confidence of a broadcaster and the clarity of a journalist. Her segments consistently rank among the station’s most-engaged digital content, affirming her role as a voice people tune in to.

Across platforms, Jill has partnered with iconic brands including Pepsi, Nike, The Big 3, Verizon NFL app, and Ford, and her content has appeared on FoxSports.com, ESPN.com, MSN, The Hollywood Reporter, Deadline, TMZ, and other major outlets. She revitalizes every platform she touches—bringing fresh perspective, elevated storytelling, and measurable audience engagement.

A former marketing and PR professional with experience at Nike, Sony Pictures Entertainment, and BET, Jill blends corporate strategy with cultural fluency, making her a rare hybrid in today’s media landscape.

She is the author of the best-selling book PostGame Pass: Access Into ‘The Life’, inspired by her long-running sports and pop culture site JocksandStilettoJill.com, and is a member of both the Hollywood Creative Alliance (HCA) and the African-American Film Critics Association (AAFCA).

When she’s not interviewing A-listers—from Denzel Washington and Jennifer Lopez to Steven Spielberg and Magic Johnson—you’ll find her dissecting the stories behind the headlines, elevating Black Hollywood narratives, or offering the smart, culturally aware commentary her audience has come to expect.
